The Message Compose main menu appears after the pro-
gram has been loaded. This is your gateway to all Mes-
sage Compose text editing functions as well as Read
Effects (Section 15), Mix Effects (Section 16) and Multi-
ple Effects. Transform (Pub. No. 2A01993); RGB Tools
(Section 21) or Image Tools (Pub. No. 2A01988); and
Video Input Module (Section 20) options, if installed, are
also available from this menu. Please note that some
configurations do not support all of the above functions;
for example, Mix Effects is not available on standard
MAXINE! hardware, but is available on MAXINE!/
Transform systems. Differences/limitations are
described as encountered, throughout this manual.
The left button on the mouse can be used to activate most
functions in the main menu. If the mouse is not present,
most functions in the main menu are activated by press-
ing
CNTL followed by the letter within the icon. The font
and font color are selected by pressing the Font or Color
Keys respectively.
