Live video input can be displayed behind the Foreground
and Background buffers in an EEFB, allowing you to
execute Read Effects over the live video. The video
source is connected to the optional Video Input Module
(VIM). The live video is then mixed the EEFB output.
See Section 20 for more information on the VIM.
Video with Key can also be fed into the Background
buffer of an EEFB. See §15.8.5.3 for information.
The Output Percentage level of the live video is always
100%, and cannot be altered.
When Video Mix is activated, all buffers are affected.
To activate Video Mix:
Press
CNTL V or select Video Mix.
It is important to make sure that there are no color keying
problems when using a live video input. It is recom-
mended that you display your Text and/or Graphics over
the live video before going on air to check for unwanted
holes that may appear in the Text or Graphics.
