performed using Text & Graphics
messages.
[ ] 7. Press READ NEXT.
The first message is loaded into the buffer
(Foreground or Background) that is set to
0,
and dissolves on screen. The Output
Percentage level rises to
100. Additionally, the
following message is loaded into the Read
Next buffer.
[ ] 8. Repeat Steps 2 and 3 however many times it is
necessary to display all of the messages in the
sequence. Press
READ NEXT twice at the last
message to end the search.
As each message is loaded into the Read Next buffer, the
previously read message is loaded into the buffer (Fore-
ground or Background) that is set to
0. The message Dis-
solves
on screen, and the Output Percentage level of that
buffer rises to
100. As that message dissolves to the next
message, the Output Percentage level falls to
0, and the
new message appears on screen, as the buffer that had
been set to
0 now rises to 100.
Simply put, messages are alternately loaded into the
Foreground and Background buffers. The Output Per-
centage level of a buffer switches from
0 to 100 as a mes-
sage
Dissolve on screen, and from 100 to 0 as the
message
Dissolves off screen.
NOTE
Be aware of which buffer is set to 100
and which is set to 0 before you
execute the Dissolve. The first image
is always loaded into the buffer that is
set to 0. This occurs regardless of
