of the cursor shift one position to the left to fill
the gap.

Press the
SPACE BAR. This only works
when Insert Mode is
OFF (§6.4.1). If Insert
Mode is
ON, pressing the SPACE BAR leaves
a gap where the character used to be, and
causes text to shift to the right one position.

DEL ROW. The row is deleted, and all
rows below it shift up one row.
