Prompt Line.

You can record all information that is on the Edit Monitor
(text, palette, tabs, and background). This type of mes-
sage is called a Full Page Message.
Other types of messages can also be recorded. For
example, you can choose to record only tab fields, back-
ground or palette. Selective recording is described later
in this section.
To create a simple Full Page Message:
• Type some text on the Color Edit Monitor.
To record a Full Page Message:
[ ] 1. Press
CLR, then enter a number from 0 to 9999
using the Address Keypad.
[ ] 2. Press the
RCD key.
Recording full page message appears on the Prompt
Line.
If
XXXX MESSAGE FILE ALREADY EXISTS (where
XXXX is the message number) appears on the Prompt
Line, it indicates that a message has already been
recorded at that location. Choose a different address and
repeat the record procedure.
If
Directory is write protected appears on the Prompt
Line, it indicates that the
Write Protect Directory default
(§8.2.2.4) has been set to
Y. Either reset the default to N,
or change to a different current directory, and repeat the
record procedure.
