To record a scanline background:
[ ] 1. Create a background.

[ ] 2. Press CLR, then enter a message ID number
using the Address Keypad.
[ ] 3. Press
CNTL RCD B.
When a background is read, it overwrites whatever back-
ground is present. Text and graphics are not affected.

This function records a Slow Reveal message.

To record a Slow Reveal message:
[ ] 1. Set up a single or multi-row message.
[ ] 2. Place the cursor on the first row of text that
you want revealed.
[ ] 3. Press
CNTL RCD, then SLOW REVL.
Recording slow reveal message appears
briefly on the Prompt Line.
The background and all rows above the cursor appear
when the Slow Reveal message is read. All rows from
the cursor down are then revealed when a speed is
entered using the Address Keypad.
