[ ] 1. Press the right mouse button to move the
mouse cursor to the Edit Monitor if it is still on
the Prompts Monitor.
[ ] 2. Use the mouse to outline the group of
characters you want to edit.
[ ] 3. While the left mouse button is pressed: press
D
to delete the selected text; or press C to copy
the text to a Paste buffer for later use. The
contents of the Paste buffer appear on the
Prompt Line.
[ ] 4. Release the left mouse button and move the
mouse cursor to a new position on the screen.
Hold the left mouse button down, and:
• Press
P to replace the screen characters
with the contents of the Paste buffer.
• Press
O to overlay the Paste buffer text on
the screen. For the overlay to work,
Insert
Mode
must be OFF.
• To insert the contents of the Paste buffer
onto text, turn
Insert Mode ON, then press
O. Text is shifted to the right of the
inserted text.
• Press
E to reducible the contents of the
Paste buffer on the Prompt Line.

The mouse can be used to quickly change the position of
the cursor.
