The system defaults to this mode on entry into the Video
Input Control Menu. Video entering the VIM (Video
Input Module) is routed directly to the frame buffer.
• Press the
SPACE BAR to switch from Video Input
mode to
Video Freeze (§20.5.2) mode.

Video Freeze freezes the incoming video as a Still and
stores it in the frame buffer. Video must be frozen prior to
using the
Field Adjust function (§20.5.3).
• Press the
SPACE BAR to switch from Video Freeze
mode to
Video Input mode.

Field Adjust is used to reduce field flicker when a mov-
ing image is captured. In the
Field selection field, the fol-
lowing choices are available:
•
Even: Even scanlines are interpolated from the odd
lines.
•
Odd: Odd lines are interpolated from even.
