Total Motion Control 23-16 Revision D
To set Capture Type:
• Highlight the
Type: field, then press the SPACE BAR
or click on the field to toggle through the above
choices.
To preserve a Capture, it must be recorded, or the infor-
mation will be overwritten by the next Capture. The
resulting recorded file type is based on the Capture type.
To create a Capture file on a different drive:
• Enter the Capture Limit window in the Configure
menu, and change the
Drive:. The procedure is
described in §23.4.3.4.
When a Capture file is created on a different drive, the
old Capture file is deleted.
Note that a Capture file is not accessible from Disk Utili-
ties or the Block List Utility, nor does it appear in any file
lists. Once created, it is permanent, although the loca-
tion and Capture Limit can be changed at any time. After
Capture file creation, it is only necessary to execute
Cap-
ture Limit
if changing the location of the Capture file, or
the amount of disk space allocated to the Capture file.
The next section applies only to preparations to capture a
CMF. If preparing to capture JPEG Video, JPEG Key, or
JPEG Video with Key, please proceed to §23.4.3.4.
