This section describes single buffer Read Effects that are
available on standard and/or Extended Effects Frame
Buffer or CLYPS-Capable Frame Buffer systems. When
Read Effects executes, a displayed image is replaced by
another image. The manner in which one message leaves
the screen and another displays is set in the Read Effects
main menu.

Read Effects allows you to execute transitions from one
stored image to another using one frame buffer. Read
Effects is available to all system configurations, includ-
ing both operators of Dual User systems. Read Effects is
accessed from the Message Compose main menu.
To display the Read Effects main menu (Figure 15-1):
• From the Message Compose main menu, press
CNTL
R
or select the Read FX function icon.
