one at a time using the Message
Directory Utility (§8.2.2.2). To copy,
move or delete more than one
directory at a time, use the Disk
Utilities program (Section 19).
To switch from one field to another:
• Press
TAB, SHIFT + TAB or the cursor keys. Cursor
Ï to the list, then use the cursor ÎÏ keys to scroll
through the list. Press
TAB or SHIFT + TAB to return
to the fields.

Range is common to the List, Copy, Move and Delete
functions.
The
Range field allows you to narrow the List, Copy,
Move or Delete operations to a certain range of message
ID’s or names, or directory names.
To choose all files:
• Leave the
Range field blank or type * in the Range
field.
To choose all messages with ID numbers from
100
through
500:
•Enter
100-500 in the Range field.
The same can be done with names. To choose all files
beginning with the letters “C” through “F”:
•Enter
C-F in the Range field.
The
* can be used as a “wild card” in either ID numbers
or names. For example, to choose all messages whose ID
numbers contain “
87” in them:
•Enter
*87* in the Range field.
This finds ID numbers such as
87, 187, 1876, 8700, etc.
