It is good practice, though not always necessary, to press
CLR before entering information using the Address Key-
pad. Pressing
CLR sets the Address Keypad to 0000.
For information on SCSI Express Read/Record opera-
tions please refer to §8.6.

There may be instances in which you must read messages
and execute effects which are not the same format as
your system - i.e. your system may be NTSC, and the
messages may have been created and recorded in PAL
format. These messages can be converted to the system
format as follows:
• Press
CNTL A.
Auto standards conversion enabled appears on the
Prompt Line.
You can now read messages or execute effects (e.g. Rolls
or Crawls) that were recorded in another format.
Before messages are read, and effects are executed, it is
necessary to convert RGB images and Machine Fonts
containing RGB images to the proper format using the
RGB Convert option, otherwise the image will not be
proportioned properly. For the same reason, it is neces-
sary to rerender (reconvert) the Machine Fonts to the
proper size and width.

The proportions used in the following procedures apply
only to 13.5 MHz systems, not the older iNFiNiT! family
systems.
3. See Flash Font and Advanced On-Line Convert (Section 13), Font
Create Utility (Section 18), or the Advanced Font Create option manual
for information on creating Machine Fonts.
