Revision D 18-13 Font Create Utility
The default setting is the currently selected disk drive,
typically Drive
C.
There are at least three disk drives from which to choose:
A - Keyboard/Chassis Floppy Disk Drive
B - First Optional Removable or Second
Internal Hard Disk Drive
C - Internal Hard Disk Drive
To select a disk drive:
•In the
MASTER FONT DRIVE: field, type the letter
corresponding to the selected disk drive.

You can select the disk drive and directory where the
newly created Machine Font is to be stored. The default
is the currently selected disk and directory, typically C/
INFINIT, C/MAX or C/MAXINE, depending on your
system.
To select a destination directory:
•In the
MACHINE FONT DIR: field, type the drive/
directory. If you enter a directory name that does not
yet exist, the system creates the directory when the
conversion is executed.
NOTE
The directory containing the
Character Placement Table (§18.7)
must be the same as the directory
that will contain the new Machine
Font (§18.4.7.3).
