the field.

Col: and/or Font: fields in the Tab Setup window

Until you change color and/or font again, any text entered
into this field automatically appears using the assigned
color or font.

• Press F.
The color and font are set when the cursor is moved into
the tab field by pressing the
TAB key. The color and font
are based on the character that the cursor is over when the
TAB key is pressed.
Additionally, these color and font characteristics remain
in effect when text is typed anywhere on the screen, until
the cursor is placed on another character in a tab field that
is set to
F. The new color and font are then picked up.
When set,
F is displayed after the field number.

A Flash Font is created using the Flash Font Utility. It
differs from a Machine Font in that it is recorded as part
of a message, and can only be used with that message. A
Machine Font is not recorded with a message, and can be
used with any message. A Tab field can be assigned a
Flash Font, so that when the message is read back, text
typed in the Tab field will use the Flash Font.
• Leave one Flash Font character in each of the
selected Tab fields before recording.
