Buffer requirements are the same
whether or not a Soft Mask (§16.12) is
specified, or whether the Crawl is
executed using prerecorded
messages or external data.

The following describes how to create a Crawl Control
Buffer List.
• Enter the Message Compose main menu and
record Full Page (§8.4.2), Text Only (§), End of
Text (§8.5.2) or Single Row (§8.5.3) messages at
addresses
110, 111, 112 and 113. Put three rows
of text in at least one of the messages. Use the
same font and font size in all four messages.
To display the Crawl Control Buffer (Figure 9-9):
• Press
CNTL or SETUP, then CRAWL.
