the transparency test on page 0000 or
type your own text after viewing page
0008, a color background may remain
on the screen. If so, use the key com-
bination ALT, then ERASE.

For the purpose of testing the system during setup, you
may compose and record new messages, assigning them
any page number. If you wish to preserve the supplied
test pages, simply assign other page numbers to any new
test messages that you compose. After installation and
setup, the Chyron operator may choose to record over
these pages.
[ ] 1. Press “Erase” if the screen is not blank. Press
“Clear” if the Address Display does not read
“0000”. Press the “Home” key, which is above
and to the left of the arrow keys, to move the
cursor to the upper left corner of the screen.
[ ] 2. Type some characters. If they are too big or too
small, remember to check the font samples on
the Prompts Monitor (Figure 3-45). Any of the
six loaded fonts can be chosen for your test
typing.
There are eight font keys on your keyboard or
WiNFiNiT! interface. (Using the
ALT key with
these Font Keys gives access to font positions
9-16 once the machine is set up and being used
routinely.)
[ ] 3. Pick a number between 1 and 9999. Enter that
number into the address keypad.
[ ] 4. Press the
RECORD key. The message line at
the bottom of the prompts monitor will say
