Once Preview is enabled as described above, the follow-
ing functions become available:
CHNG toggles the cursor between the Foreground
(AIR) to and Background (Preview) buffers. Both
AIR and Preview can be the destination for Read
operations, or the source for Record operations.
XFER swaps the contents of AIR and Preview.
XFER executes as follows:
a The RGB data in PREVIEW is transferred to
AIR first.
b The RGB data in AIR is transferred to PRE-
VIEW second.
The user can type, erase the screen, and read/record
messages in either AIR or Preview.
The Output Percentage level of the MAX!> Preview Out-
put is always 100%.

When MAXINE! Preview Output is enabled, Dual Chan-
nel Transfer affords the following options:
Enabled: When XFER is executed, the contents of
AIR are transferred to PREVIEW, and the contents of
PREVIEW are transferred to AIR.
Disabled: When XFER is executed, the contents of
AIR are transferred to PREVIEW, and the contents of
PREVIEW are erased.
