This section describes the optional RGB Tools software and
its many uses in manipulating component (RGB) video.
RGB Tools is included with the Video Input Module
option, described in Section 20 of this manual, or as a
separate software option. This application has full mouse
support for all menus and features.
Image Tools (
CNTL G) is an advanced version of RGB
Tools, and includes all the features of RGB Tools plus
other features such as free-hand drawing. If Image Tools
is installed, the Message Compose main menu displays a
function icon labeled Image Tools instead of RGB Tools.
If the Image Tools option is present, you must press
CNTL K to enter RGB Tools instead of CNTL G.

HINT: RGB Tools can be useful for grabbing text or
images that are rotated or warped.

Compose version 9.00 and later;
MAX!> and MAXINE! systems running
Message Compose version 4.0 and
later; and on iNFiNiT! systems in
Local or Remote mode that are
running both WiNFiNiT! version 1.2
and Message Compose 4.3w.
