Revision D 8-45 Directory Features
When a Text Only message is read, the text appears as it
was when recorded. The cursor is at the same position it
was when the text was recorded.
Using Record Text Only makes it easy to switch scanline
backgrounds, which can also be recorded separately
(§8.5.9).

This function records text from the row that the cursor is
on (including all empty rows within the text information)
to and including the last character on the screen.
NOTE
If blank space exists between last
character in the last row and the right
edge of the Safe Title Box, this space
does not appear if that message and
another are crawled one after the
other.
Record to End of Text records only the text and tabs
(including empty rows as described). No background, or
palette information is recorded. The exception is that
when the

(§8.2.2.4) is set to
Y, the palette is recorded.
