Empty Function Keys are not recorded. When the Func-
tion Key message is read, blank keys do not overwrite
currently occupied Function Keys.

An individual Function Key control
list can be stored in any individual
Function Key location. This
recording method is performed from
within the Function Key Setup menu,
NOT
from the Control Record menu.

You can save Mix or Read Effects presets (sliders, buffer
assignments, etc.). 100 presets (even if you do not set all
100) are saved in a Read Effects (§15.7) or Mix Effects
(§16.17) message.
To save all the Mix and/or Read Effects presets:
[ ] 1. Create Mix and/or Read Effects presets.
[ ] 2. Press
CLR, then enter a message ID number
using the Address Keypad.
[ ] 3. Press
CNTL RCD M.

The contents of a Roll or Crawl Control buffer can be
recorded. After composing a Roll or Crawl buffer, it is a
good idea to record it as soon as possible, because the
contents of the buffer are lost upon exiting Message
Compose or when the system is powered down.
