Revision D 17-19 Multiple Effects
Not all of the following Transition Patterns are available to
all Effect Types. If a particular Effect Type cannot be used
with a particular Transition Pattern, the letter identifying
the Effect Type will not be available in the
Effect field. If
all Transition Patterns cannot be used with an Effect Type,
the
Effect field will specify NA. Transition Patterns are
not available to
Dislv, Cut, Roll, Crwl and DDR.
The Transition Patterns are as follows:
A - Horizontal Slide/Wipe
B - Vertical Slide/Wipe
C - Horizontal Split Wipe
D - Vertical Split Wipe
E - Box Wipe
F - Row Slide/Wipe
G - Scanline wipe
H - Row-by-Row Scanline Wipe
I - Screen Scanline Wipe
To select a Transition Pattern:
[ ] 1. Place the cursor on the desired buffer or
Mix
row, in the Effect column.
[ ] 2. Press the
SPACE BAR or click to toggle to the
desired Transition Pattern, or type the letter
that corresponds to the Transition Pattern.
Note that you must place the cursor on the
Effect field to
check the availability of a Transition Pattern.

Ease (§15.3.3, §16.5.4) controls whether or not the tran-
sition runs at a constant (set) speed, or accelerates to a set
speed and/or decelerates from a set speed. Transition is
executed within the duration set in
Speed. The default
setting is
None.
