To display a Clock or Timer:
[ ] 1. From the Message Compose main menu, select
the desired font and color. Flash Font
characters cannot be used in Clock/Timer
displays!
[ ] 2. Place the cursor where the leftmost digit in the
Clock or Timer is to appear. Allow enough
room to the right for all digits.
[ ] 3. Press
SETUP C.
[ ] 4. Select a
Mode: Clock, Timer Up or Timer
Down
(§11.2.1.1).
[ ] 5. Enter a
Format: (§11.2.1.2).
[ ] 6. If displaying a Timer, set
Leading Zeros:
Blanked
or Display (§11.2.1.3).
[ ] 7. If start time for the Timer is other than
0:00.00,
use
Reset to set the new start time (§11.2.2.2).
[ ] 8. Make sure that the
Mode:, Format:, or
Leading Zeros: fields are not highlighted.
If displaying the Clock or Timer from within
Clock Setup, press
S. The Clock or Timer
starts, and the
Start icon becomes a Stop icon.
Press
S to stop the Clock or Timer (§11.2.2.1).
From Clock Setup
[ ] 1. Press CLR, then enter the ID number of
the message. Press
ALT READ.
[ ] 2. If the Clock or Timer has not already been
set, do so, then press
B (Background) to
exit Clock Setup, then start the Clock or
Timer.
If CNTL ALT READ or ALT READ is used to read an RGB message
into the EEFB Background buffer, any XY pixel offset that is set
using the CNTL ALT 2 function is applied to the graphic.
