NOTE

The Keyer On/Off item only appears if

the CCIR601 digital sync generator

and CCIR601 Digital Keyer options

are installed.

This menu item allows you to turn the 601 Digital Keyer

On or Off.

If you have the CCIR-601 hardware/software option

installed in your system along with the VIM, the

601

Enable

function icon (Figure 20-6) appears in the Video

Input Control Window (shown previously in Figure 20-1.)

The 601 option enables the system to capture and process

digital video data. When

601 Enable is activated, the

Video Input Module is bypassed, and functions available

on the Video Input Menu are

Video Input, Video Freeze,

and

The Loader Setup menu contains a

Set Video function (§3.6.4) which

must be set to “601” for the Genlock
