The two sets of BNC connectors on the iNFiNiT! rear panel
marked CHANNEL 1 and CHANNEL 2 (Figure 2-7) are com-
pletely independent. Except where noted, the following
descriptions apply to both channels.
EXT SCSI
The Small Computer System Interface (SCSI) is the I/O
port for the internal hard drive. A SCSI Terminator, or
external disk storage unit(s) attach to this connector.
If
no external drive units are connected, the sup-
plied SCSI terminator must be installed here for
proper hard disk operation!
GPI
General Purpose Interface. Allows you to use remote
switches to activate Function Keys

ETHERNET
Network connection, for use with Network Utilities
option.

VIDEO
Output consists of iNFiNiT! text, graphics, effects, and/or
backgrounds. Does not include Safe Title Box, cursor, or tab
fields. (1.0v p-p)
COLOR
EDIT
Same as CHYRON VIDEO, plus displays Safe Title Box,
cursor, and tab fields. (1.0v p-p)
SYNC
If component output (RGB) is used, this jack supplies com-
posite sync to the SYNC IN jack of your equipment.
(4.0v p-p NTSC; 2.0v p-p PAL)
BLUE
If RGB/YUV equipped, supplies the blue or U component
from the RGB/YUV board. (0.7v p-p)
GREEN
If RGB/YUV equipped, supplies green or Y component, and
sync (if desired), from the RGB/YUV board.
