For Timer modes, the following formats can be specified
to count up/down to/from
999 minutes or seconds:
TIME ZONE OFFSET
A time zone offset can be entered to adjust for time zone
differences in either direction. To set an offset:
• When typing in the
Format, add + or - , then the
number of hours to be offset.
For example, if the format is
HH:MM:SS, enter
HH:SS:MM+3 to display New York time while in Los
Angeles.
CHARACTER ALIGNMENT
You can set all Clock/Timer characters into a fixed width
format (no kerning) to avoid a jumpy appearance as the
Clock/Timer runs. To enable or disable this feature:
• Press
F after exiting the Format: field.

Leading Zeros in Timers can be set to display or not dis-
play zeros in the empty placeholders.
• Highlight the
Leading Zeros: field, then press the
SPACE BAR or click on the field to choose either
Blanked or Displayed; or, press B to select
Blanked, or D to select Displayed. Press
or move
the cursor out of the field.
For example, a time of 1 minute, 3 seconds, 84 hundredths
of a second, if set to
Blanked, appears as 1:03.8 when
using an
MM:SS.T format.timer. If set to Displayed, he
same time, using the same format, appears as
01:03.8.
