Video Input for the MAX!>601 must be a serial CCIR-
601 (or D1) signal.
The Loader Set-Up menu contains a Video Control Win-
dow for the genlock source (§3.6.4). The same signal
used for VIM input is used as the system reference when
set to
601. If this is set for Analog, then the serial-D1
input must be locked to the analog reference the MAX!>
is using.

MAXINE! systems may have an analog VIM, or both an
analog (RGB) and digital (601) video input options.
If MAXINE! has the 601 option installed, a “Source”
item appears on the Video Input Control menu.
To change the Source,
TAB or SHIFT + TAB to the
Source item on the Video Input Control menu, then
change the selection by pressing the
SPACE BAR.

Key Enable (K), when activated, uses the key provided
by the video source. When not activated, the system pro-
vides a “full-ON” key signal. When not using the Key
input connector on the rear of Video Input Module,
always confirm that
Key Enable is OFF.
