Red, Grn, Blue
Each slider shows the relative level of component
RGB, from
0 to 255 (dark to light).
Hue, Sat, Int
These sliders show the HUE, SAT (saturation) and
INT (intensity). All parameters can be set from 0 to
255. Note that although HUE is set from 0 to 255,
the range covers
360° of a color wheel. See §10.2.2,
§10.2.3 and §10.2.4 for more information.
Current Color
This Current Color box displays the color currently
set on the RGB/HSI sliders.
Color Key
Settings
Displays the colors the eight Color Keys are set for
in the currently active buffer. The face of each cube
shows the body color. The edge of each cube shows
the edge color.
Sub Pal
Press P or select Sub Pal. When selected, the row
of eight Color Key cubes is replaced by a gradated
color bar representing the overall range of color
available in the currently selected Color Key (as
shown in the status area of the Message Compose
menu). Each Color Key has a Subpalette which
can be viewed by selecting the individual Color
Key.
Set Edge
Press E or select Set Edge. This sets the color for
character edges. The color appears on the edges of
the Color Key cube.
Move Dsply
Press D or select Move Display. This moves the
Color Palette from the bottom of the Edit Monitor
screen to the top.
Reset
Press R or select Reset. This resets all eight Color
Keys and Subpalette colors to system default col-
ors (§6.5).
Quit
Press Q or select Quit. Exits from Palette mode.
