On the Time Line, the In point is
always to the left of the Out point, and
the Out point is always to the right of
the In point. For example:
If the In point is moved to the right of
the Out point, the In point becomes
the Out point, and vice versa.
If the Out point is moved to the left of
the In point, the Out point becomes
the In point, and vice versa.
To set the Loop value: Place the cursor on the
Loop: field, located directly below the Time Line,
then enter a value from
0 - 9999. The clip will play
from the Start point to the End point the specified
number of times. If
0 is entered, the clip repeats
indefinitely until it is interrupted by a Stop command
(
S or select the Stop button).

Whenever Message Compose is entered, the default drive
and directory are set as follows: If a SCSI Express drive
path was set using the setup function in Message Com-
pose (
SET-UP E), this path becomes the default. Exam-
ple: W/MAX
. If no path was set, the system
automatically defaults to drive
Z/<System Name>.
Example: Z/INFINIT. If the drive and/or directory are
modified in the CMF Read or Record menus, these
changes remain active until Message Compose is exited.
