Revision D 6-11 Message Compose Basics
CNTL Z. Opens a Fade window (§9.6) for
setting up single-channel Fades to and from
black. These Fades are only visible when
viewing CHYRON VIDEO and KEY OUT
through a switching device or keyer, when
combined with another video source.
There also may be additional function icons for options
such as Transform (Options manual), Image Tools
(Options manual), RGB Tools (Section 21), and Video
Input Option (Section 20).
6HOHFWLQJD&RORU
The eight Color Keys, located in a row along the top of
the keyboard under the Font Keys, are set to the follow-
ing default colors:
RED, MGTA (magenta), BLUE,
CYAN, YEL (yellow), GRN (green), WHT (white) and
BLCK (black). To select any one of these colors as a
character color:
• Press the appropriate Color Key. All characters
typed from this point appear in this color.
To change to a new color:
• Press a new Color Key.
The color of a a row or a page can be changed after it has
been typed. See §7.11 for details. Additionally, the
default system colors can be changed to suit your specifi-
cations. See Section 10 for more information.

Loading Machine Fonts is accomplished using the Font
Load Utility, available from the Message Compose main
menu. To display the Font Load Utility menu:
• Press
CNTL F or select the Font Load icon.
