When a Text & Graphics message is read back, it is
important to execute the
READ function while in the
active buffer that is assigned to CHANNEL A (i.e the
CHANNEL in which it was recorded). Otherwise, the
message does not display as you expect.

SCSI Express is supported on all
systems running Message Compose
v9.0 and later.

documentation for details.
SCSI Express allows for fast Reads/Records of Stills,
CMF, or CLYPS files. A SCSI Express drive can be used
by any program that can access such files, such as
IMAGESTOR!, RGB Tools, etc. Up to four such drives
can be connected. Note that only Stills, CMF, and
CLYPS files may be stored on these drives.
There are two methods for accessing Stills stored on a
SCSI Express drive, described in the following sections.
