A software adjustment is required if you use external sync, as
explained below.
[ ] 1. From the Program Loader Menu, press
SETUP
.
[ ] 2. Press
V
(or select the
Set Video
icon) to display
the Video Control window.
[ ] 3. Use the cursor keys to highlight the
Input Sync
field, then press the
SPACE BAR
to choose either
Green
(default) or
External
.
[ ] 4. Press
Q
or select
Quit
to exit Sync Setup.
[ ] 5. Press
CNTL
to exit Setup.
[ ] 6. Load Message Compose.
MAXINE! VIM Configuration for YUV Input:
The Video Input Module can be configured to accept YUV
instead of RGB inputs, as follows:
If you are connecting a YUV video source, connect “V” to
RED, “Y” to GREEN, and “U” to the BLUE inputs.
On the VIM module, locate 3 pin headers JP6, JP7 and JP8. On
each header, move the jumper link to connect the center pin to
the “V”, “Y”, “U” connection.

DIP switches in iNFiNiT! and MAX!> keyboards let you set the
host address (i.e. the main chassis) and the keyboard address. If
you're using the mouse option, one of the DIP switches lets you
select the type of mouse (either
Microsoft
or
other
).
MAX-
INE! keyboards do not require switch configuration!
NOTE
On some early-model iNFiNiT! keyboards,
the DIP switches are only accessible by
opening the keyboard chassis. Contact
Customer Service if you require
assistance with switch configuration on
such keyboards.
