allows you to display the flash buffer while
typing new text in the next available buffer.
NOTE
Bkg Flash can only be used if two or
more buffers are available. It is NOT
available with the MAXINE!. In a Dual
User iNFiNiT! system, only the
primary (higher priority) user can use
the Bkg Flash feature.
Quit Select Quit or press Q to exit the Flash
window. This stops the flashing, but keeps the
On and Off values intact.

[ ] 1. While in Message Compose, create your Flash
message.
[ ] 2. Press
SETUP F to display the Flash window.
[ ] 3. The
Flash On field is outlined first. Enter a
value from 1 to 999 fields into the Address
Keypad. Press

TAB to the Flash Off field. Enter a value from 1
to 999 fields into the Address Keypad. Press

[ ] 5. Place the edit cursor on the first character of a
word that you want to flash.
[ ] 6. Press
F or select the Flash icon to begin
flashing the text. The flash operates from the
character the cursor is on to the end of the
word. Each word must be started separately.
