[ ] 3. Repeat Steps 1 and 2 for each preset you want
to save.
If there already is a preset recorded at a number that you
entered, it is overwritten with no confirmation.
Saved
current fx settings at preset n
appears on the Prompt
Line, where
n is the number that was entered. Make a
note of your preset numbers - a list of presets cannot be
displayed.
This method saves presets temporarily. To save the pre-
sets (up to 100) to a directory:
[ ] 1. Exit the Read Effects main menu by pressing
Q, CNTL Q or ESC.
If the system is equipped with Extended
Effects Frame Buffers (EEFB’s), it is
preferable not to press
ESC to exit the Read
Effects main menu. If you happen to press
ESC again immediately after exiting the menu,
the system can lock up, and it will be necessary
to reboot.
[ ] 2. In the Message Compose main menu, press
CLR, then enter an empty message ID number.
[ ] 3. Press
CNTL RCD M.
You can save different groups of presets under different
message numbers. This can be especially useful if you
work on more than one show in the same studio.

To recall a Read Effects preset:
[ ] 1. If the presets are saved as a message, enter the
Message Compose main menu.
[ ] 2. Press
CLR, then enter the ID number of the
message.
Mix Message read appears on the Prompt
Line.
