When a CMF animation is read from within IMAG-
ESTOR!, or from the IMAGESTOR! Recall Keyboard,
only the frame that was current when the CMF was
recorded is displayed, allowing the operator to preview a
particular frame. This frame also is displayed as the
Thumbnail. Note that the CMF frame is expanded to
occupy the entire frame of the Thumbnail.
For example, if frame
100 was the In Point; frame 700
was the Out Point; and frame
350 was displayed when
the CMF was recorded, frame
350 is displayed when the
CMF is read, but when the Play List is executed, the ani-
mation plays from frame
100 through 700.
One of two effects can be set in the
Eff column of the
IMAGESTOR! Play List:
CMF1: The CMF is executed without erasing any
image that may be on screen. For example, if the
previously displayed Still filled the entire screen,
then the portion of it not covered by the CMF will be
visible when the CMF is executed.
CMF2: The frame buffer is first erased before exe-
cuting the CMF.
