The Encoder board is factory set for key out to be timed within
5 nanoseconds of Video Out.
The key signal can be advanced about 250 nanoseconds or
delayed about 750 nanoseconds relative to the video outputs.
The Coarse timing switch advances or delays the signal in 250
nanosecond increments and the Fine timing switch advances or
delays the signal in increments of about 18 nanoseconds. There
is a jumper available for that will adjust key timing in 5 nano-
second steps.
Channel 1 Coarse adjustment is S10, Channel
1 Fine adjustment is S6 and JP11.
Channel 2 Coarse adjustment is S7, Channel
2 Fine adjustment is S3 and JP10.
The jumpers should not be used except as a last resort or as a
super fine adjustment. For any given board, there may be one
setting that will be invalid and cause the video output to be
unstable.
