NOTE
Dual Channel Record is not available
on MAXINE! nor on single frame
buffer MAX!> systems.
This function records the text contents of two frame buff-
ers as one message. When read, the original frame buff-
ers are loaded with their respective texts. Palettes,
background, and Output Percentage levels are saved in
each buffer.
You should be in CHANNEL A when you execute a Dual
Channel Record, to get the desired effect. The system
records the current frame buffer and the next available
frame buffer, based on the assignments in the Mix Settings
window (§16.7 and §17.5).
For example, to perform a Dual Channel Record of the
outputs of CHANNELS A and B:
[ ] 1. Read or compose a text message in the buffer
assigned to CHANNEL A.
[ ] 2. Change the active buffer to the one that is
assigned to CHANNEL B. Read or compose a
text message in this buffer.
