To exit from Tab Setup without saving changes, press
ESC.
To exit from Tab Setup and save changes, press
Q or
CNTL.

Text can be inserted into existing messages in two ways:
by character and by row. Both methods work by first
opening a space for new text. You then position the cur-
sor in the space and type in the new text.

To insert a character:
[ ] 1. Position the cursor where a space is to be
inserted.
[ ] 2. Press
INS CHAR once for each character, as
many times as is needed for the characters to
be inserted.
If a character is under the cursor, it and all other charac-
ters in the row move one space each time
INS CHAR is
pressed. The size (both height and width) of the space
inserted is that of the current font selected.
[ ] 3. Type the new character(s), or leave the
space(s) blank.
OR...
Press
CNTL N to enable the Insert Mode.
Newly typed characters are automatically
inserted directly to the left of the cursor
position. All text on the same row shifts to
the right each time a new character is
typed. Press
CNTL N again to exit this
mode.
