The Clock Setup Utility window contains four function
icons:
Start (or Stop), Reset, Backgrnd, and Quit.

This function toggles between Start and Stop, and either
starts or stops the timer. When a Timer is stopped, the
count is held at the time it was stopped. When the Timer
is restarted, counting resumes from that point. When a
Clock is stopped and restarted, however, the display is
updated to show the current time, + or - the offset, if any.
To toggle between
Stop and Start from within the Clock
Setup menu:

Start/Stop can also be toggled from the Message Com-
pose main menu:

NOTE
Prior to starting a Clock or Timer, you
must exit the Format: or Mode: field.
Press
 or move the cursor to exit
either field.

The Reset function is used to instruct the Timer to start
counting up from a specified time; or count down from a
specified time.
NOTE
Any time that is entered into the Set
Timer window (Figure 11-2) must be in
the same format that was set in the
Format: field (§11.2.1.2).
