Multiple Effects 17-18 Revision D
menu (§17.5) to assign the buffer containing the CMF
animation to an output channel as described for a DDR
clip in §17.4.2.12 on page 17-15.
The CMF animation can also be displayed in either the
Foreground or Background buffer of an Extended Effects
Frame Buffer. The Multiple Effects setup procedure is
described below.
To set up a CMF in Multiple Effects:
[ ] 1. Select the buffer in which to execute the CMF.
[ ] 2. Using the alphanumeric keyboard, enter the
CMF Animation ID number in the
Mesg
column.
[ ] 3. Select
CMF in the Type column.
[ ] 4. Select either
A or B in the Effect column.
A: executes CMF animation in the Foreground
buffer of the selected Extended Effects Frame
Buffer.
B: executes CMF animation in the
Background buffer of the selected Extended
Effects Frame Buffer.
[ ] 5.
Ease and Rev can be set, but do not have an
effect on execution.
Ease always executes as
None, and Rev executes as Off.
[ ] 6. Set
Start, End and/or Len.
Multiple Effects is executed as usual.

ber of ways using Transition Patterns (

A - I (§15.5).
Transition Pattern
J is not available to Multiple Effects.
