iNFiNiT!, MAX!>, and MAXINE! systems equipped with ana-
log Sync Gen hardware are adjusted in the same way - however
the Sync Gen board is located in slot J20 on iNFiNiT!, in slot J7
on MAX!>, or in slot J1 on MAXINE! systems.
MAXINE! systems may be equipped with either an analog sync
gen hardware, or CCIR-601 digital video hardware. Therefore,
the adjustment procedure for the MAXINE! 601 digital video
option is also provided in this paragraph. CCIR-601 digital
video option adjustments for iNFiNiT! and MAX!> systems are
provided in the documentation supplied with the option.
If you want to use external sync, use the
GEN LOCK
jack on
the rear panel. Aside from special applications you may have,
external sync is required if your system is configured for the
PAL
or
PAL-M
formats.

The Sync Gen board is in slot J20 (iNFiNiT!), slot J7 (MAX!>),
or in slot J1 (MAXINE!). The setup adjustment points on the
board are shown in Figure 2-15.
