Characters moved off the right side of the screen DO

wrap around to the next line as a result of an
INSERT unless Word Wrap Mode (§6.4.1) is ON. They
are pushed off past the right margin of the screen, and
may not be recorded as part of the page.

To insert a row:
[ ] 1. Position the cursor where a row is to be
inserted.
[ ] 2. Press
INS ROW.
The row the cursor is on and all rows BELOW it move
down to make room for the new row. The number of
scanlines that the rows shift is equal to the current font
height.
[ ] 3. Type new text or leave as a blank row.
Remember that the software allows no more than 24 rows
(numbered 0 - 23) of text. If you try to insert a 25th row,
the 24th row is lost

The Backspace key, located on the alphanumeric por-
tion of the keyboard, to the right of the key. It can be
identified by the
Ì on the keycap. Do not confuse it
with the
Ì cursor key. The Backspace key deletes the
character immediately to the left of the cursor position
each time it is pressed. If the beginning of a row is
reached, it jumps up to the next row, and deletes the last
character on that row.
Place the cursor over the character to the right of the
character you want to delete, then press the
Back-
space
key.
