Each EEFB contains two independent buffers - Fore-
ground and Background. The Background buffer dis-
plays behind the Foreground.
As Read Effects executes, the previously inactive buffer
becomes the active buffer. If the Foreground buffer was
active, the Background buffer becomes active, and vice
versa.
