NOTE
An EEFB Background buffer is NOT
the same as AIR and PREVIEW
Background RAM in which scanline
backgrounds (§10.5) are created.
A message or RGB(A) graphic can be read into either the
Foreground or Background buffer as follows:
[ ] 1. Place the cursor on either the Foreground or
the Background selection box in the Active
Buffer window, then press
or
SPACE BAR;
or click on the Foreground or Background
selection box
[ ] 2. Press
CLR; enter the ID number of the message
or RGB(A) graphic that you want to read into
the buffer; then press
READ.
NOTE
Be sure the Transparency percentage
of the two Buffers is set higher than 0
to be able to see the message you’ve
read into the Buffers.
To erase the Foreground or Background buffer:
• Make the buffer active, then press
ERASE.
Messages can also be read into the Foreground and Back-
ground buffers while in the Message Compose main menu.
To read into the Foreground buffer:
• Press
CLR, enter the ID number of the message using
the Address Keypad, then press
READ.
Messages read into the Foreground buffer can be edited
while in the Message Compose main menu.
To read a message into the Background buffer while in
the Message Compose main menu:
• Press
CLR, enter the ID of the message using the
Address Keypad, then press
CNTL ALT READ.
