Ease controls whether or not the transition accelerates to
set speed and/or decelerates from set speed or runs at a
constant (set) speed. The default setting is
None. To set
Ease:
[ ] 1. Place the cursor on the Ease: field.
[ ] 2. Press the
SPACE BAR or press SHIFT CHAR +
Î or Í to toggle forward; press SHIFT CHAR
+
Ï or Ì to toggle backwards; or click on the
field to toggle through the following choices:
The speed of the effect gradually increases to
the set speed, and remains at the set speed
until the effect is complete. Transition is
executed within the duration set in
Speed.
The effect starts at the set speed, then
gradually slows down until the effect is
complete. Transition is executed within the
duration set in
Speed.
The speed of the effect gradually increases to
the set speed, then slows down gradually to
completion. Transition is executed within the
duration set in
Speed.
The effect starts and stops at the set speed,
with no acceleration or deceleration. Transi-
tion is executed within the duration set in
Speed.

Transition Patterns A through E, I and J treat a message
as a full screen image. Using Transition Patterns
F - H,
rows of text can be controlled individually using the Row
Menu.
