Advanced Read FX 15-10 Revision D
Each of up to 24 rows of new text can independently
overwrite each old row from the bottom (
Up), top
(
Down), Left, or Right. A row can also be Fixed. When
the Transition Pattern is executed, a
Fixed row remains
on screen until the transition is complete, then the
Fixed
row is instantly replaced by the new text row. Blank
rows are counted as rows in the Row Menu.
Certain Transition Patterns are restricted when using the
Row Menu settings:
Transition Pattern
F can use all Row Menu settings, but
there are restrictions when executing a
Wipe.
•
F can only use Left or Right at one time when exe-
cuting a
Wipe if the system is equipped with a stan-
dard frame buffer(s)
. If Left and Right are
designated in the Row Menu at the same time,
ROWS CANNOT BE WIPED BOTH LEFT AND
RIGHT
appears on the Prompt Line. If the system is
equipped with an Extended Effects Frame Buffer(s),
this restriction does not apply.
• Using Transition Pattern
F, Up, Down and Fixed can
be mixed in the Row Menu with
Left or Right.
• Transition Patterns
G and H must use either Up,
Down, or Fixed. If Left or Right are designated,
those rows behave like
Fixed rows.
