To activate a function icon:
• Press
CNTL followed by the letter within the selected
icon.
If you have a mouse:
• Place the mouse cursor (
^) over the icon you wish to
select and click the left button once.
The function icons change depending on which feature of
Message Compose you are currently using. Message
Compose functions are follows:
CNTL F. Displays the Font Load Utility menu
for loading Machine Fonts, viewing sample
characters, generating selective listings of fonts,
and listing all currently loaded fonts (This
section).
CNTL B. Displays menu for creating Scanline
Backgrounds (§10.5).
CNTL P. Displays menu for selecting character,
edge, and subpalette colors (Section 10).
CNTL R. Displays the Read Effects menu for
executing Wipes, Reveals, Pushes, and Hides on
messages (Section 15). Also accesses Extended
Effects Frame Buffer (EEFB) features such as
Foreground/Background Text & Graphics and
Dissolves (§15.8).
CNTL D. Enables you to list, change, create, or
delete messages and directories (§8.2).
CNTL L. The Block Message Utility enables you
to move, list, copy, or delete a single directory or
groups of messages in a directory (§8.3).
