This command instructs Roll to use two frame buffers.

This allows you to roll extremely smoothly at 100 speeds

between

1 and 9.

NOTE

Special Roll is available only on

systems with either of the following

configurations:

• Two or more frame buffers

(standard or EEFB). Before

executing a Special Roll,

CHANNELS A and B must each

have buffers assigned to them.

See §16.7 for information on

channel and buffer assignments.

• One Extended Effects Frame

Buffer (EEFB)

Note that when Special Roll is

specified in a system equipped with

EEFB’s, it automatically executes

within one EEFB.

To specify a Special Roll:

This command is used to change the speed of a Roll.

Speed changes can be specified at any point in the Roll

Control Buffer List.
