[ ] 2. Shift the image by holding down the SHIFT

key and pressing one of the ÌÍÎÏ
keys as many times as necessary.
The image is temporarily shifted. To exit Page Shift Mode:
• Press
Q.
The image returns to its original position.
When text is repositioned using Page Shift Mode, it
behaves as
Locked text, regardless of whether in Locked
or
Unlocked Mode.
Super Shift can be used with Page Shift Mode
to make
text moves in larger increments (§7.8.6).

Use Super Shift to move text, using SHIFT CHAR/ROW/
PAGE +
ÌÍÎÏ operations, a greater distance than
just one pixel or scanline at a time.
This distance can be set in the Directory Defaults or can
be entered as you execute each Super Shift operation. To
change the default Super Shift value for a directory, first
enter the directory. Access the
Defaults settings by
pressing
SETUP D. Change the Super Shift Value (Mes-
sage Directory Defaults are described in §8.3.).
To execute a
Super Shift:
[ ] 1. Position the cursor on the text to be moved.
Skip Step 2 if the default
Super Shift Value is
set to any number but “
0”.
[ ] 2. Press
CLR, then enter a Super Shift value into
the Address Keypad. This value specifies
number of scanlines for a vertical move, or
number of pixels for a horizontal move. (i.e.
