RGB Tools supports SCSI Express, which allows fast
Reads and Records of Stills. An RGB Tools image is
normally recorded as an RGB message. However, when
recorded on a SCSI Express drive (
W, X, Y, or Z), it is
automatically converted into a Still. When the Still is
read back from a SCSI Express drive while in RGB
Tools, there is no loss of information, and the image can
be worked on as usual. The image can then be rere-
corded as an RGB message on one of the other drives, or
as a Still on a SCSI Express drive. See the SCSI Express
documentation for more information on this feature.

The RGB Tools main menu (Figure 21-1) is available
either from the Message Compose main menu (
CNTL G
or CNTL K) or from within the IMAGESTOR! main
menu.
NOTE
CNTL K accesses RGB Tools if Image
Tools is installed. This keystroke
combination does not appear in the
Message Compose function icon list!
