The Mix Settings Window (Figure 16-5) controls buffer
and channel assignments. See Section 14 for more infor-
mation on buffers (inputs) and channels (outputs).
Figure 16-5 shows the default settings for a three buffer
system. Buffer 1 is assigned to CHANNEL A, and
Buffer 2 is assigned to PREVIEW. CHANNEL B has no
assignment. The default settings for a MAX!> are the
same, except that a third buffer is not available.
Note that settings that are set in the Mix Effects Mix Set-
tings window are reflected in the Mix Settings window in
the Multiple Effects main menu (§17.5) and vice versa.
